Refund, Transfer, and Cancellation Policy

To ensure clarity and fairness, this policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted.

Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at info@mytraininggroup.com with the following details:

  • Reason for Refund: Clearly state why you are requesting a refund.
  • Course Details: Include the date, time, and location of the class or session.

Please note: Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are not permitted under the following conditions:

  • No-Show Policy: Failure to attend any part of the in-person classroom skills session(s) without advance notification does not qualify for a refund. No make-up sessions are provided for multi-day classes.
  • Unmet Prerequisites: Failure to complete any course prerequisite, requirement, or objective (e.g., not passing required assessments) does not validate a refund.
  • Incomplete Online Learning: Failure to fully complete or demonstrate completion of the Blended Learning Online Session (“online learning”) before attending the classroom skills session will result in disqualification from a refund.

Exceptions for Documented Circumstances

We understand that unexpected events may occur. In cases of documented medical emergencies or other extenuating circumstances, exceptions to the refund policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • To qualify for an exception, participants must provide valid documentation supporting their request (e.g., doctor’s note, hospital discharge papers).
  • All exception requests will be reviewed individually, and approvals are granted at the discretion of our administration team.

To provide flexibility, we offer participants the option to request a transfer to a different class or session. Please review the conditions and steps below:

Requesting a Transfer

To request a transfer, email info@mytraininggroup.com with:

  • Reason for Transfer: Briefly explain why you’re requesting the transfer.
  • New Class Details: Specify the date, time, and location of the desired class or session.

Transfer Fee

Land-based Classes- A non-refundable transfer fee of $25 will apply to each transfer request. This fee is payable at the time of request.

Aquatic-based Classes- A non-refundable transfer fee of $25 will apply to each transfer request 2+ weeks before the class/session start date and time. This fee is payable at the time of request. A non-refundable transfer fee of $100 will apply to each transfer request within 2 weeks of the class/session start date and time or after the class/session has started.

Approval and Availability

Transfer requests are subject to approval based on class/session availability. Approval is not guaranteed, and placement in a new session will depend on open spots.

Late Arrivals and No-Shows

Participants who arrive late or do not attend the originally scheduled session are still eligible to request a transfer, but the $25 transfer fee will apply.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If a participant initiates a cancellation after the transfer, no refunds will be issued for the original or future session. Transfers are non-refundable and do not serve as a substitute for a cancellation.

Cancellations Initiated by MY Training Group

If MY Training Group must cancel a class/session:

  • Participants will have the option to transfer to a future class/session at no additional cost.
  • Alternatively, a full (100%) refund of the original payment will be issued upon request.

Cancellations Initiated by the Participant

If the participant initiates the cancellation, a refund may be issued based on the timing of the request. Refund percentages are as follows:

Land Classes75% Refund – Cancellation 1+ weeks before the class/session start date and time.
50% Refund – Cancellation 2 to 7 days before the class/session start date and time.
0% (No Refund) – Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class/session start date and time or after the class/session has started.

Transfers allowed within any equivalent class offered by MY Training Group before 24 hours of the class/session start date and time, in accordance with Transfer Policy.
Aquatic Classes75% Refund – Cancellation 5+ weeks before the class/session start date and time.
50% Refund – Cancellation 3 to 4 weeks before the class/session start date and time.
0% (No Refund) – Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the class/session start date and time or after the class/session has started.

Instructor Classes75% Refund – Cancellation 5+ weeks before the class/session start date and time.

0% (No Refund) – Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the class/session start date and time or after the class/session has started.

Transfers allowed within any equivalent class offered by MY Training Group before 2 weeks of the class/session start date and time, in accordance with Transfer Policy.
Online Only ClassesNo refunds, all sales are final.

This policy outlines the terms for Premium Enrollment.

By enrolling in the Premium Enrollment package, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Expedited Certification

  • The Premium Enrollment package guarantees that your certification will be processed and issued within 24 hours from the time of successful course completion.
  • Expedited processing is only available for completed courses. If any course requirements (e.g., assessments, online learning, or additional documentation) are not successfully completed in time, the 24-hour certification guarantee may be delayed.

2. One (1) No-Charge Class Transfer

  • Premium Enrollment includes one (1) free class transfer, subject to availability.
  • The transfer request must be made in writing or via email info@MYTrainingGroup.com
  • Transfers are subject to course schedule availability, and a request must be made at least 24 hours prior to the requested scheduled class date.
  • Transfer requests must occur within 30 days of the original course date. 

3. CPR Keychain

  • As part of the Premium Enrollment package, you will receive one (1) CPR Keychain. The CPR keychain is to be picked up at the scheduled skill session. 
  • The CPR Keychain is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other goods or services.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • Premium Enrollment fees are non-refundable, except where prohibited by law or in cases of course cancellation by the provider.
  • If a class transfer is requested under the Premium Enrollment package, refunds will not be issued for the original course date.

5. Limitations of Liability

  • We are not responsible for any delays or issues arising due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to technical issues (e.g., website outages, system failures, or internet connectivity problems) that may impact your ability to complete the course, attend the class, or receive certification.
  • The 24-hour certification guarantee and other Premium Enrollment benefits are void if the participant does not fulfill all required course prerequisites or if the class is not attended as scheduled.

6. General Terms

  • MY Training Group reserves the right to modify or cancel the Premium Enrollment package benefits at any time without notice. Any changes will be communicated directly to enrolled participants.
  • The Premium Enrollment benefits are valid only for the course in which the participant is currently enrolled. Benefits are non-transferable and only apply to the individual participant.

By enrolling in the Premium package, you agree to all terms and conditions as outlined above.
